Great Frigatebird is a large, lightly built seabird up to 105 cm long with mostly black plumage. The female is larger than the male and has a white throat and breast. the male's scapular feathers have a purple-green sheen, and in the breeding season he inflates a striking red throat pouch. Major nesting populations are in the tropical Pacific, with colonies in the Indian Ocean in the Seychelles and Mauritius (Wikipedia, general species account). (Wikipedia, general species account).
Its recorded food includes fish, mostly flying fish, taken from the ocean surface in flight, and steals food from other birds less often than other frigatebirds. in the Indian Ocean, colonies can be found in the Seychelles (on Aldabra and Aride Islands) and Mauritius, and there is a tiny population in the South Atlantic, mostly on and around St. Helena and Boatswain Bird Island (Ascension Island). They feed in pelagic waters within 80 km (50 mi) of their breeding colony or roosting areas. (Wikipedia, general species account).
