The grey-cheeked green pigeon, written as Gray-cheeked Green-Pigeon in the site data, is an Indonesian Treron in the pigeon family Columbidae. The accepted name is Treron griseicauda; older literature may use Osmotreron griseicauda. The sources opened did not provide a dependable adult, sex-specific or juvenile plumage description, so appearance is not reconstructed from photographs. Birds of the World maintains a current species account under the modern combination (Wikipedia taxonomy; Birds of the World account citation).

Its verified diet consists of fruit, especially figs. A study of strangler figs in Central Java is among the ecological references attached to the species account, supporting the association with Ficus fruit, but it does not establish the full diet in Sulawesi. The accessible sources did not give a species-wide habitat summary, measurements, nest, clutch or incubation period. Regional hunting information from Java is not presented as Sulawesi ecology (Wikipedia account and cited Indonesian fig study).
